4. I (Metalmind) will post a new match daily at about 6 PM PT, excepting brief scheduled breaks for Thanksgiving and one day where I have a prior commitment.
5. The users who nominated each character will be kept hidden, as votes are for characters, not users. Users are forbidden from rallying, including posting additional propaganda that is not already in this opening post, as this can give their character an unfair advantage.
6. You are allowed, and in fact encouraged, to vote for the character you nominated. Or don't if you truly prefer their opponent, I'm not your boss!
7. Bumping support to keep this topic on the front page is appreciated, especially when I'm not available (typically from about 4 AM to 3 PM PT).

"What am I doing with a surfboard? Please. Just because I'm pretty and popular, it doesn't mean I can't surf. It's not just for lazy stoners, you know. I happen to be the sixth ranked female surfer in the world under 21, and I won't stop until I'm the best on Earth, period. Surfing helps me relax, which I need, since there's a lot of things in life that stress me out. My parents tried the whole 'tiger mom' thing with me until I got to high school and they realized it was driving me crazy... then they started pushing me too far in the other direction, always trying to get me to slow down and have fun, which is sometimes just as bad! And don't get me started on my friends... I mean, I love them, but sometimes it gets frustrating when they're not as focused on winning as I am! I guess that's on me though, and I really am working on it. Yoga helps, and there's nothing like going out to the beach and finding a nice quiet spot to sit down, close my eyes, and listen to the waves. Maybe I'll hop on my board and catch one... there's always time to practice for my next competition."

Basics:
-Age 18, 5' 7''
-Born in San Francisco, California, to Japanese parents who immigrated to America when they were young
-She's currently studying business at Stanford University
-Learned to surf when she was nine, and continued doing it ever since, mostly as a hobby to relieve stress, but also because she was good at it and enjoys being good at things. She's also skilled in other extreme sports which she regularly competes in with her friends. She's very athletic, probably the best pure athlete in her group, though her best friend (who she loves dearly but argues with all the time) is still a better skateboarder than her.
-Was the "queen bee" of her middle school and quite popular in high school. She's still a bit stuck up, but is working on improving herself, and meditates to help with this.
-She's a perfectionist who tends to fixate on certain flaws, sometimes in others, but especially in herself. This can lead to bouts of deep regret over people she's hurt in the past during some of her meaner episodes, and episodes of intense self-loathing. She's the kind of person who tends to avoid apologizing when she should, and then over-apologizes later on.
