It looks like shit and gives us a new origin story for the gang meeting. Other than the animation style being okay, etc, I hate it. Zeus posted... The portability option was definitely a draw for me. Unfortunately, the software tends to be more expensive than the others (since it doesn't price drop as often or as deep) and things don't run great on it because... well, it's basically a tablet trying to do higher-end stuff. That's why some of the previous handhelds were a nicer blend. I think they're all $50. That's not really a surprise though. I forgot about Octopath Traveler too. I'd rather have that on Switch than Steam. I would also need to get a screen protector and a year worth of the subscription too. New Switch games tend to start at $60, not $50. The last time I paid $60 for a new release was LBP which... well, other than it falling in value fast, the pre-order bonuses later being available to everybody, and the GOTY version being available cheap, (and the game being short) mostly felt worth it. My first full MSRP Switch game will probably be Pokemon Shield because... well, ofc it'll be Pokemon Shield. (Granted, I paid $70 for a clearanced LG! Pikachu with the Pokeball thingy... which was a moderate waste since the ball will be available for about $20 during some promotion and the game might be around $40 now -- neither of which I've used.) Pocket Geeks: The Latest Edition! Now with half the Geeks! Gigantogeek vs Dynanerd Otherwise I already tossed out Geekworld Problems Revelation34 posted... $300 for a regular one. Maybe there will be a Black Friday deal for one somewhere.
