The reduced cost for an internet and cable bundle with Charter/Spectrum is only for the first year before the prices goes up. My sister and brother-in-law are sharing their Netflix account with me while I will be paying the $7 monthly cost for Disney+ and will be sharing the account with them. If folks have multiple streaming services I can definitely see the cost adding up to be on par or more than cable. But for me who will only be paying for Disney+, it is overall cheaper. Obviously if you only ever want to watch Kim Possible then its cheaper to just get Disney+. In regards to cable you have 3 types of people: 1) Those that can afford the price increase after the year as its only about $20 or so. 2) Those that know to cancel after the year and put it under their spouses/roommates/partners name and get the promotional price again. 3) Those that throw a fit and leave their cable company for satellite(and get absolutely murdered PLUS shitty internet speeds) or over-the-top services... and then usually return to cable anyway. --- Don't runaway from troubles... instead meet them Hedons. <cite>HornedLion posted [p:929819380] in Are you su...
