And besides, I thought the big hubbub was because he allegedly talked a guy into investigating a possible crime? How does that help him retain the presidency? Because there was no "possible crime". He wanted an investigation into his biggest opponent's son because it would help increase political support for him, the same way the investigations into Hillary Clinton helped get him the presidency the first time. Only problem is there were absolutely no grounds for that investigation, as Hunter Biden was never accused of a crime or suspected of criminal activity. Also, he wanted Ukraine to support a conspiracy theory that it was their government that interfered in the 2016 election in support of the Democrats, instead of Russia interfering to support Trump (which is also smears the Democrats, exonerates the Republicans, panders to Trump's ego, and is fucking stupid to boot).
