Survivor needs Jeff or someone like him to retain viewers - as a host, Jeff is still pretty good, even if him being Game Master is sucking the life from the show. The key words are "someone like him" - because look at Jonathan LaPaglia and Nico Panagio, both of whom do a pretty damn good job emulating Probst while putting their own spin on being host. ChenBot is the least necessary because she's only in 40% of the episodes and has traditionally the least level of understanding of the game, plus she's becoming an increasingly toxic mouthpiece of undesirable fans herself.
