I think, since everyone is always highlighting all these similarities between Luffy and Roger, it would probably have come up by now if Roger had had the same fruit. though I am interested to know where Shanks got the fruit in the first place, and Roger having had the same one beforehand would be part of an explanation for that I think it would be a bit much if that was actually Roger's fruit tbh. I would like it more if it's just a random fruit they found.
