ThePepsiBlue 10/08/19 2:09:35 AM #1: | I was talking to my friend about the future and made jokes. She then said she'd warn my future wife or something related to the joke. I told her she wouldn't know me by the time I get married. Things she said after basically implied she'll still be friends with me for a very long time. Which felt very nice. I've never had a friend say that to me before. So I was wondering if it is something girls or people in general say to their friends. If not, could it mean something? Also wanted to say that I asked this girl out a few months ago. She said no when I asked her out to the movies because she was busy. And some coworker apparently spread a rumor that me and the girl are dating a few months back. A coworker told me the girl was telling him how annoying the person spreading the rumor is and that me and her are very cool. So she definitely knows I like her and Im not exactly hiding it when Im around her. I dont want to ask her out anymore because it could damage our friendship. Even though I want to be more than friends with her, I really like the friendship I have with her now and dont want to risk it. Plus I have to respect her decision even though I feel like I still have hope. But yeah, telling a friend you'll still be their friend years from now still a thing people commonly say? I've never had many friends but Ive never heard of this before from my experience. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
