| Peridiam 06/12/19 4:34:52 PM #471: | I really enjoyed FE7 & 8 on the GBA, but reaaaaaalllllly didn't care for Fates. I trudged through Birthright and then tried to beat Conquest but gave up. Awful story, awful writing, characters were totally whatever. Even though I knew Conquest was the tougher game I decided to start with Birthright to have the difficulty ramp up instead of down, but in the end I didn't have any motivation to move forward. I also wasn't a fan of the fortress building hub. That said this game looks a bit more appealing. :> But I fear the story will be terrible again. Despite having a good concept with 3 different factions, the possibility to be dynamic is there -- I just fear it's gonna be soooo shallow. With dopey character interactions. Gah, Fates is one of my least favorite games. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
