^If you're going to make alts just to target somebody else with your negativity, I suggest you go ban yourself.

Over my dead body. I will not be silenced.

It's worth noting that I agree Ash should've won the Sinnoh League, after which the series would've rebooted in Unova. The Pokemon anime has suffered from a plague of sameness - but that doesn't mean it can't be enjoyable. I still enjoyed my DP watchthrough a few years ago despite having grown up with the original series like yourself. It's a freaking kids' show. It's allowed to repeat itself for new generations.

What I disagree with is your "holier than thou" attitude where you think your opinion is the only one worth anything. Allow darkx to enjoy this instead of hounding him trying to shove your stance down his throat. He's allowed to enjoy it his way. Back off and let him.

P.S. I won't reply to anything else you say, so I suggest you back off of me, too.

The fact that the current direction of the Pokmon anime turns practically every episode into filler renders the anime unwatchable. I am not going to watch a show where every single episode will provide no impact on the protagonist and the endgame that he's never going to achieve. Making it a show for kids is not and should never be an excuse for abysmal writing and characterization. If you do not intend to keep your audience, then maybe you should give some closure to Ash and his partners and replace them with a new protagonist, instead of having him run around in circles and abandoning all other characters and Pokmon into the abyss. You admitted that Ash should win a league by now, so I say that maybe you should join me and do something about it since the showrunners would rather have all of us pass away first before making a cohesive story of Ash and the anime.

And if you don't want to, then I desire that you and darkx recognize the fundamentally glaring flaw of the Pokmon anime that results in it as one of the most broken television products ever made. You can enjoy a awful show as much as you like; I know I have. That's okay. But you cannot defend the show as anything of substantial quality if the anime staff is unwilling to work with the premise that was set up 22 years ago. If you recognize the Big Problem of the Pokmon anime as valid criticism, then I'll leave you alone. That's a promise.
