Sometimes they'll backtrack on things they said they like if it means protecting "the west"( see their hypocrisy on "free speech"). They are also staunch liberals in that they believe in private property, wage labor and all the works. When Liberialism breaks down, they, as most liberals do, flirt with fascism to protect it.
