so, basically, unless you're a walking simulator, being "indie" is just a another label for "low budget and hard as fuck", ok?

so, i can respect that. if you want to present a stiff challenge based on the faux pretense of just being a "low-budget" game... fine, good, enjoy, ok?

but then, i get shit from my friends, and the indie community in general stating (in many different ways) that the idiot general public only wants big budget "AAA" games and never want to give the indie scene a chance, ok?

the one indie game i really get into, shovel knight, people shit on constantly for being "too easy", and the devs have already said they plan on ramping up the difficulty for the second. oh wonderful, ok?

so, i'm a guy in his mid-30's, and i have a job, a wife and a kid, and i just don't have the time to devote to your hard as fuck game. at least with a larger budget game, i know i'll be able to get through it. but what do i get for buying the AAA, company game? a bunch of shit stating that i'm the death of the indie industry, and that it's people like me who ruin it for younger, hard-working creators, ok?

i'd be more than happy to buy your smaller game you slaved on for the last 4 years while eating nothing buy carpet shavings and leaves, but you made it it too fucking difficult for me to enjoy, ok?

/rant, please feel free to post "git gud" below, ok?
