A lot of the like small things in the show are very much enhanced by how much they really nail the general perception of what gaming and gamers were like back then and even the progression of how it changed during the period of time the show runs. It really feels like a time machine. Like the big parts of the show you don't need any of that, and the core of the show is really good.
