Mike Laidlaw, the former creative director of the Dragon Age series, is now with Ubisoft. More specifically, their Quebec branch, which made stuff like For Honor, South Park: FbH, Rainbow Six Vegas, AC Syndicate, and AC Odyssey. Now, I know Ubi isn't perfect, but I'm sure they'll make much better use of him than EA would, especially nowadays. And with the more RPG direction AC and South Park are going, having someone who worked with a series as beloved as DA on board could really add a lot.
