I wanted to pick up on scaryice's post, because I noticed just how similar the brackets of the five users they mentioned are:

Altogether, those five brackets only differ on a select few picks, with very similar broad strokes, most notably taking Sans very far in the losers bracket only to have him losing to Link.

Specifically, those differences are the following six, as far as I can tell:
1. puseecat, princeton_boy, and reggaeton_reina picked Aerith in Rounds 1-3, while cloelea and demphra picked Waluigi in the same three rounds - the only difference all five brackets have before the legends and losers rounds.
2. puseecat, cloelea, and reggaeton_reina picked Mario in the last match of Legends Round 1, while demphra and princeton_boy picked Sephiroth in the same match.
3. puseecat alone picked Pokmon Trainer Red in the second match Losers Round 1, while the other four all picked Crono there.
4. puseecat and cloelea picked Samus in the last match of Losers Round 1, while demphra and princeton_boy picked Mario there, and reggaeton_reina picked Sephiroth.
5. puseecat and cloelea picked Mario in the last match of Losers Round 2, while demphra, princeton_boy, and reggaeton_reina all picked Sephiroth there.
6. puseecat solely picked Cloud in the first match of Losers Round 3, while the other four all picked Mega Man.

Finally, puseecat, cloelea, and demphra all have identical tiebreakers of 150000. Meanwhile, princeton_boy's tiebreaker is 155000, and reggaeton_reina's is 1500000.
