That line of "these poor folks are having something dangled in front of their faces until they snap!" is pretty bad, since they'd have to find the prospect of fucking children enticing to begin with.

Zikten's response reminds me of that recent Dawkins post where he alleged that a 14 year old got him drunk and he had a threesome with her and another person. If he had any basic human decency, he would have stepped away, stopped hanging around with a fucking adolescent, even just refused the alcohol. But he didn't - he found a creepy situation that he was fine with, and he took full advantage. I would imagine that many people who get caught like this are the same kind of gross, opportunistic scumbags.

I remember a To Catch Predator episode where one guy changed his mind before going into the house. He still got arrested.
