I haven't actually seen it myself but I read the manga and I've played the SRT game where Nadesico was prominently featured. assuming the anime follows the manga pretty closely it was pretty decent. I like it! I feel like it's having trouble deciding how serious it wants to be, so the whiplash between 90's Comedy Hijinx and surprisingly dark stuff about war is a bit jarring, but both sides of that coin are executed fairly well trdl23 posted... Tombolo and I are both big fans of deckbuilding games, so the way they carried the principles of that and turned it into a dungeon run is perfect for him and me. Heck yea! (Monster Slayers also scratches that itch and I believe both of those games credit Dream Quest as an inspiration and I think the guy that did Dream Quest did the monster hunt stuff for Hearthstone.
