Alright. For what few people are interested after the last debacle months ago, or new people who are not aware of a debacle a few months ago, I want to give this another try.

For the uninitiated (why did you click this topic with that title) TEW 2016 is a wrestling promotion simulator where you control the match results and storylines and stuff. I'll be using a current real world database for it.

I'll be controlling WWE, and will be putting some restrictions on myself to prevent it from veering too far off WWE's product.

- I will only be hiring people to work as managers/non-wrestling positions, aside from very limited midcarder filler and possible prizes, and who WWE themselves hire
- I will avoid using special attraction guys like Brock Lesnar or Undertaker more than you'd expect to see them on the real show.
- I'm going to try to sync my PPV dates with WWE's even if that means I have to rush some storylines along to do that.

The ideal is I'll be simultaneously be releasing shows at the same time as WWE-- same night, anyway. We'll see how far I can diverge from what WWE is giving us using the same wrestlers, and how quickly I can tank the product.

Now assuming you haven't run away yet, let me tell you why you should actually maybe care about this. There are some differences from the last time that I hope will make it easier for me to keep with it this time.

- Other than contract based realism, I will be going full insanity mode here, so don't expect this to have any remote pretense of realism otherwise (I do hope it will still be coherent, however)
- I won't be holding myself to WWE's injuries and firings and whatnot, as who's to say whether those would still occur in this alternate timeline anyway. It was too obnoxious to keep up with last time. That being said guys can be injured and such in my game world independent of the real world so there will still be some unexpected changes needing to be made.
- Most importantly I'm starting with Wrestlemania as Wrestlemania happens, so I'm not starting in a 3 month hole. Should help a lot!
- Wrestlemania is in theory a clean place to end a lot of storylines so I have less baggage to keep around as far as needing to wrap up stories.

Can I make a product even worse than what the real WWE puts out? I sure hope so! I might also be going to ask for some collective input from anyone bothering to read before I start and do a prediction thing right away (though this won't occur every show, Wrestlemania deserves one). So stay tuned.

No problem!
