To those of you defending your pronunciation because in the acronym the G stands for graphics, a word with a hard g, how do you pronounce CERN? The C stands for Conseil, so I imagine to be logically consistent you would say KERN?

In any case, I don't care about your logical consistency. Pronounce it however you like as long as a sizeable portion of the population pronounces it that way.

Hey, someone that has some idea of what they're talking about. Another example is jpeg, the p is for photo.

I pronounce it both ways since it can be pronounced both ways. There's no perfect argument for either side and those that think there is is just... wrong. There are plenty of words with more than one correct pronunciation. I don't care how you pronounce it, just don't think that yours is the only right way.
