| LOLIAmAnAlt 12/27/17 4:45:43 AM #1: | For example: I enjoyed 2D platformers growing up. Mega Man 2 and 3 are among my favorites and heck SotN may be my favorite. I still like the genre. Castle in the Darkness, Spelunky, Super Meat Boy are just a few of the newer games that I adore. Platformers are awesome. But I just never could get into Shovel Knight, one of the most renowned 2D platformers of it's time. 1.4 hours in 2 years and I have no real explanation as to why. I think it has something to do with progression and controls but IDK. I've even gone back to the game twice to try and ignite the spark, including last week but It's just not happening.
