if nothing else at least taking the courses I have been in Japan has gotten me more accustomed to presentations. Three classes Thursdays, so today I had Art History, JP Linguistics in Sociological Context, and JP Health culture.

- Art History we were hastily thrown into groups to present on religious artistic representations... I did my part well enough (talking about Islam, woo making use of mosque/museum visits), that after class the only other guy that covered Islam (a Turkish Muslim) came up to me and appreciated my points, mentioning things that he didn't even consider (he even asked if I'm a Muslim lmao). So friend made. Gosh he just seemed so happy, I noticed him perking his head out listening soon as I introduced my piece.

- After Art was JP Linguistics and the group presentation assignment was finally announced... 30-35 minutes (5-person group) but I'm not tooooo concerned. But part of me is just really glad at how the class is turning out, I mentioned before how intimidating the JP requirement was, even scaring off people I know are better than me... but really it's just an easily class, only... the prof has a tendency to lecture in Japanese unlike normal International courses. But I love it, naturalizing my JP comprehension.

- Final class of the day is JP Health/Sports culture... which is just presentations on your hometowns and I'm actually legit excited for mine. Today a fellow York U tomodachi presented, she's from Mississauga, the city I was born, so I got all hype seeing the Trillium Hospital pop up in one slide since that's where my mom worked for a long time and where I was born. Presentation also is about your fav activity so I found out friend makes crafts including COSPLAY. Which means I finally have a connection to obtaining the Emil, Layle, and Patroklos cosplays I've always wanted. (she's actually my Tales pal too and also Emil fan aww yeah)




Also Sunday I've actually got some socializing to do. I don't usually join in my dorm's events since anti-social and all........ but this week one of the RAs is hosting a Smash tournament so how could I not join in to wreck everyone?
