I think the biggest thing I've learned in my time here is that expressing your personal opinions is a mistake, and people will be knocking over each other to tell you how and why you are wrong on every level. Yeah, but if you really have a strong belief on your opinions you should keep your stance. Many opinions in history were met with hostility until they eventually had to be accepted and became the norm.
