You said "dogs bred for consumption" except this dog breed is not recognized, meaning its not genetically distinct enough from established breeds to be considered a new breed.

Also it is a recent trend and is illegal to consume dog meat in korea.

Oh look, some people "breed" rottweiler to be muscular for food, in a western country too! Still, does not mean a specified domesticated breed meant for consumption the same as cows and chickens. Once again, as well, its considered taboo by majority of country and/or illegal.
