OP isn't lying about the torture, they get blinded with knives, beaten, kicked, stepped on, gouged with hot pokers, sliced between their claws...GIS is lightweight compared to the videos.
China has no formal animal cruelty laws so every time something like this comes up, it only succeeds in shutting it down for that one particular town. Probably the only good thing PeTA does with their money.
Basically you just have to get used to slogging through the same bureaucratic BS over and over.
It's been about eight years since the last one was shut down iirc. You're in this for the long haul if you go for it.
I'd prefer to use my time on multiple endangered species than one treated badly but common. Or helping Big Cat Rescue or anti-poacher organisations.

More importantly, all of the references -- the book, the speech, etc -- use ONE person as a source. That doesn't stand any scrutiny. If there was a substantial amount of evidence, you'd have more than one source. There are more "experts" speaking out against fluoride in our drinking water than there you have claiming these massive, widespread crimes. And, bearing in mind that the ONE person making these claims makes a very good living doing so between his book and speaking engagements.
