Maybe someday there will be a cause you may want to sign a petition for or, maybe even donate money to. When you grow up.

When somebody actually cares about a cause, they do more than sign a petition. Signing petitions is for slackivisits who are badly misinformed about an issue and don't want to do anything genuine to help it. They're the kind of yokels you can approach on the street and convince to sign a petition to "end women's suffrage" or "ban H2O." It's a feel-good effort that gives you the illusion of having done something when, particularly in this case, you've done nothing at all.

Read and sign. No excuses to be uneducated with the existence of the internet

Your "evidence" is a petition which cites no sources. You talk about no excuses for being uneducated within the existence of the internet, but you're signing the equivalent of a bill complaining pizza shop sex dungeons in Washington, DC. Literally anybody can make a petition about anything and, with the right approach, get anybody to sign it. That Death Star petition got enough signatures to have the White House respond. I asked for ACTUAL evidence from reputable sources, which you've failed to provide.

Which isn't to say that it might not be happening, but the only "evidence" for it I can find is shaky and the source you provided has no evidence at all.
