its not just that, but the tournament itself had many ongoing storylines, you had Sampras trying to equal borg, Federer making a mark, Henman finally going for gold, Ivanisevic with his Wildcard, an 18 year old roddick coming in with great hype.
it helps that the two semi finals were my favs because of the competitors.
Yeah that would have been awesome as to see =O
Although, this era of tennis is awesome as too, I'm glad I'm around to see it
