I've said it even in our Canadian elections, its based on how much money they want to spend rather than their real values. If money wasn't involved as much, you might actually see positive changes in both countries. Starting with paying off the massive debt that the main parties have put us in. Something like 20 trillion for the states and nearly a trillion for Canada.
