The fact that they can happen shows a clear failing in the system that was obviously not intended. And ignoring the constitution is without a shadow of a doubt worse, and yet you support that. Considering we have stupid things like people losing their ability to vote without their knowledge or consent because of "misspellings" that may or may not be their fault, the last thing we need is for people to start saying that you somehow aren't actually a citizen because your parent's name was wrong or something stupid.
