have you ever had to take a cat, in a cat carrier, out of a car?

I have a cat, and while I don't normally put the carrier in the foot well (my carrier allows you to secure it with a seatbelt), if I had done this, it would absolutely be a lot easier and safer for the cat for me to pull it out while I am outside of the vehicle. If I just grabbed the handle from the top of the cat carrier, the weight of the carrier and the cat always feels like the handle is going to snap off, so I normally have to put my other hand underneath. Cat carriers can be big and when you want to remove a cat safely from the car without jarring it around, it's easier to do it while fully planted outside of the vehicle.
yes i have and you can totally get out of the car and take the carrier out from the same side you just got out from and unless the carrier you have isn't that good or you have godzilla for a cat i doubt the handle will snap off, going around the car to take the cat out from the other door is quite weird
