Topic	why is FFIX so much better than FFVII?

The music was terrible midi because the asshole composer kept the proper version for himself until the rerelease (using it in his concerts), there was barely any new music to begin with, and most of the monsters are either copied or skins of past games. They only really put effort into the heroes and bosses, and that's it. The story was alright, but definitely not my favorite. But that's just me being cranky lol. I really hope that Dragon Quest 12 is a full redo of the series.
