Anybody remember how these old pilots got to series back in the day? I remember the pilots for stuff like Codename Kids Next Door and Megas XLR, but can't remember what the campaign was for full series. It was definitely viewer involved though. Nowadays they try to gauge everything on YouTube and it doesn't translate to TV. I'm not sure if those shows were involved with aired pilots.
