Born and raised here in the UK, as was my mother and that side of the family. My father technically was too, but that colony gained independence in the 60s so really he was an immigrant who immigrated here later on. At the insistence of my mother he did gain citizenship even though it wasn't really needed at the time. As a part of the Windrush Generation, this was very wise in hindsight, as a lot of my relatives on that side of the family did run into issues over the years.

Therefore, despite being visibly not white, I have Viking DNA and a specific type of kilt that I should wear based on my ancestry. I'm sure that breaks the brains of a certain sect of people.
