That was already dwindling 15 years ago Just wanted to chime in on this since my wife works at a college (small private liberal arts school in Iowa) She says she sees it quite a bit when the weather is nice. Students there mostly are throwing footballs and kicking a soccer ball. Also apparently there is an area where students set up a net and play volleyball a lot.
