Then it was, "I'm already halfway done, and now that Covid is forcing us all to stay in, I'll be writing more then ever!".

Then it became, "I'm already halfway done, and now that the writers strike is happening, I have nothing else to do, and so I'll be writing more then ever!".

And now, I guess, it has become, "I'm already halfway done, and now that I'm no longer doing my peer reviewed physics research, I'll be writing more then ever!".

It's been over a decade now, and he's still halfway done, but hey, at least he's writing more then ever!
