I get that this is likely a joke topic, but what are you defending? Pedophilia? Alcoholism? ESPN glamorizing poker and convincing college kids that dropping out and pouring their money into what is usually a losing cause being a good thing? I find all of those things ridiculous and indefensible; my apologies if my values are different from yours =/

One does not simply defend pedophilia. Alcoholism... well I don't even see the relevance of it in this topic. Even if Kuge admitted to being an alcoholic, it may easily have been in jest (if every college student who drank frequently was an alcoholic, then... there would be A LOT more alcoholics in the world (sorry, couldn't come up with anything witty). As for poker, you're way off in the parking lot behind left field. If college kids think they can drop out and make a living playing poker, it's their own ****ing fault if they fail. If they play for the sole sake of money, they're morons anyway. The REAL poker players, profession or amateur, good or bad, high-stakes or free games only, play because they enjoy the game. That's me for one. I can afford to play money games (cheap ones at least) but I don't. I play for the sake of playing, because I ****ing love to play. Anyone who considers themselves "professional" or anywhere near would say the same thing. You've shown me wisdom in the past, Ulti, but you're showing me ****ing ignorance right now...

Child molestation is indefensible, yes, but equating the two is stupid. The idea that all pedophiles are child molesters is like the idea that all gay men are ass-rapists. Ridiculous.

It's pretty sad because most people actually think this. I know it's High School but you'd be surprised how people act once they figure out someone is gay, they think that they're attracted to every man they see or something.

I see both sides here.

One one hand, I agree with the people saying that just because you're stupid or naive doesn't mean it's all your fault that you get sexually exploited. Frankly, I think it's naive to think that by 13 you're a street smart kid who always knows what you're getting yourself into.

However, I also don't like To Catch A Predator for several reasons:

A) I find it boring and repetitive. How is it entertaining to watch the same thing week after week after week?
B) I do believe that some elements of the show border on entrapment which I am opposed to.
C) I hate to judge people based on appearances, but Chris Hanson just screams smug *** **** to me.

I'm still not sure as to whether or not I believe Kuge's story. If this really did happen, there would have to be some public record of his court hearings. If Kuge is still reading this, could you provide us with any information as to what town or courthouse this hearing took place in?

And I thought someone once accused Shake of trying to get Ail's employers to think she was a pedophile? If this is wrong I completely apologize and retract my statement, but if it's true that makes his strong statements kinda hypocritical.

Then he realized that he could cash in at B8 with one of the greatest joke topics of all time. After a carefully thought out story, which, let's face it, doesn't seem very plausible when you think about it, he was ready for the presentation.

Well, I would like to take this time to shed some light on some things (since I didn't want to explain everything to keep my story short)...so I guess this will be...PART 5.5:

o Some of you may be wondering, "Why would RJ want Mike to visit him?". Well, I asked RJ as soon as I got to his house and he told me after he graduated High School, Mike became his good friend and they went to several parties together, not to mention RJ wanted to sleep with Mikes girlfriend at the time. He didn't really know that Mike could be such an ass.

o Some of you may also be wondering, "How did Mike really know it was a sting?". He didn't, plain and simple. To recap what I said earlier: He wanted to set something up to where he would think I would have had sex with the girl and he would then contact my gf and say I was cheating on her. (I wouldn't cheat on her, but since he had the chat messages and whatnot he thought he could pull it off). I swear that guy is a bimbo-douche. IIRC, she was supposed to take pictures and send it back to Mike's chat name, then send them to my gf.

o Mike did stay with RJ until the beginning of May (I think). How would I have known that you may ask? Because I saw Mike at Meijer at the beginning of May. I didn't confront him at the time, but I figured I would end up meeting him soon enough.

o Many people come under the impression that Mike is a nice guy in general, I don't know how he can pull that off, but it sickens me to the core. I think I called him out in 8th grade for something and he hasn't forgiven me yet. Whenever we talked to eachother in high school, he always had a condescending tone and I really wanted to kick his ass whenever I saw him, but I really didn't care too much since we hardly did talk to eachother in highschool.

o "Why didn't Thad or Juan back you up?". As far as they knew, they only figured that Mike and I only tolerated eachother. They really had no clue about how we felt about each other, they only knew that we were going to pick up "Casey".

o "Have you confronted Mike after he came back to Michigan?". The thing about where I live is, is that hardly anyone moves away, I know he still lives in my town and I did talk to him in the middle of May when I saw him at a concession stand and he openly said the stuff 2 bullets above this comment. He thought he was was safe since thousands of people were in the area...it was for that time being he was...I got him back though...not as much as I would like, but this still isn't over between us.

I hope that cleared up some things.

Also, the sheer amount of people fooled make it better if it's fake. A couple people may've seen around it, but the vast majority doesn't. Thus making their inevitable reactiobs priceless.

What I'm wondering is why it's so absolutely necessary to distinguish between "pedophiles" and "child molesters"? Granted I only have my own limited experience but I can honestly say I don't know a single person who has confided that they are really attracted to children but they don't act on their urges. I would imagine most people are in the same situation so for all intents and purposes, the only known pedophiles are active pedophiles so does it really matter if the samantics are perfect?
