Yeah yeah it's been like 2 months since things went kablooie and I recently had to set up a fresh active database so a lot of the more recent stuff was temporarily inaccessible again.... buuuut got things organized now on 3 databases until the current one fills up again in a number of months.

Things still aren't perfect or anything, lots 'n lots of posts are probably in misplaced databases but that kind of data transfer's gonna take some time to filter out what with how many posts are logged now. On the plus side, things are more organized and setup internally so that kind of loss will be minimal to none in the future when I have to swap the active database again since I just gotta point the bot to a different, already set-up database in waiting.

I dooooo kinda wanna go over the page designs fresh some day now that I have a more cohesive idea but who knows when that'll happen, not like I'm making money off this thing!

Oh right, also fixed up a silly mistake that was making the page numbers in the topic list incorrect -- it was showing the page numbers as if it were counting among all boards, rather than just the one you were browsing (B8 had ~3000 topics, CE had ~60k topics, topic list was counting ~1300 pages of topics on B8 instead of ~60). Should be accurate now.

Whoops, I had a bug since the url change that I never realized -- it affected CE the most since the bot was only reading 1 page per topic in each hourly run and halted a board scan when 20 topics were read (since it assumed all scanned topics were up-to-date)

I can do a simple fix (although gradual) right now in the meantime while I make the scan_topic function loop to the end of topics

either way the full fix will be done by the time anyone reads this

Heh yeah I only bothered to absorb Board 8's lurkerfaqs back when I started this up since I was only intending to do B8 to begin with until someone asked me to track PotD and CE as well.

... I can't imagine absorbing the size of CE's lurkerfaqs database

Will it ever be possible to see old threads from lurkerfaqs? So many I wish I could read.

Don't really know who even hosted lurkerfaqs let alone suspect they still have the database if it's been abandoned with no activity in forever =/

Sadly nostalgic of when aga slowly forget to renew imgcake and it'd be down and up for a while until eventually someone else purchased the domain and he lost everything :|
