My first of the year gauntlets. Double elimination style. I decided to go ahead with this one since the real reason I hold off on them is because I want to do image updates as I do the years (many older images don't fit the style of the gauntlet, which is torso-and-up style pictures so you get the best possible look at the character, when possible of course).

And it's here. This is December's update featuring characters from "new releases" like SaGa: Scarlet Grace and Raging Loop along with some of the month's actual new games such as Vampire: The Masquerade - Coteries of New York and the final episode of Life is Strange 2. Plenty of other smaller releases and more including your nominations are included. This contains 322 new characters which you can find with the "new" tag, and with 2019 over the 2019 tag should now also be ready play in full (1327 total). The total gauntlet should now stand at 22,300 in the current version.

I can probably have December ready for New Year's Day.

As far as the hosted gauntlet goes, for that 5-11 timeslot that would have to be a weekend day for me. On weekdays I probably couldn't begin until 8, but this might require over 3 hours possibly. Anyone else out there in the former world of gauntlets?

So following the next update, I am thinking of doing a hosted gauntlet for Best of 2019. The 2019 tag will be complete, well as much as it can be at this moment, so I was hoping people would want to do their own solo 2019 tag gauntlets since it seems timely and fitting. But would people be interested in a group gauntlet for the tag? As it stands, the tag is sitting at 1228 characters for the current year and with this month's additions... doubtful it reaches 1300 since this is a pretty small month and some of the major releases are games that weren't even initially released in this year, but that's still a large amount of characters and it'll likely take some time to finish it. There's no save feature obviously and while my computer rarely resets or anything I'm always worried about leaving a gauntlet open and unfinished.

That said, how many people would like to make a good day of this? It would have to be well-planned in advance but I'd like to see if it's possible to still run a gauntlet in this day and age with a group.

People keep saying "Impeachment will be the dems undoing!" but impeachment is pretty popular. Nobody who wasn't already voting Trump is going to feel sorry for the guy who regularly bullies people.

I think he has a strong shot at winning, but I don't think Impeachment has any negative effect on that. (On the contrary, I think it sends a message that Donald Trump is corrupt, and that he's unfit for office). Joe Biden is a pretty dull candidate, and those tend to lose.

Trump's approval rating has climbed since this impeachment inquiry began, and spiked when he was actually impeached according to some sources. The thing about this country is that a large number of people don't actually vote. It's impossible to know for sure what a 100% voter turnout would look like, but I stand by my belief that this stirs up backwoods nuts who might not have actually went out to vote and now, sensing this, will.

It's still Christmas night on the West Coast! This update contains the 2000 tag. It also contains 378 new characters specifically from that year, which as always you can use the "new" tag to check those out specifically if you would like. Somehow this update came out to 800 characters exactly from this first year of the millennium, which I find a little odd since this is over 100 fewer characters than the previous year. The characters I added in was also a bit less, so perhaps the year 2000 was just a slightly smaller release year gaming wise or had games that had smaller casts perhaps. As always, the project is never truly complete but it tag is up and running for all that's currently in. Hope everyone enjoys and Merry Christmas.

It was okay. I think the other two films were better in this trilogy, but it doesn't deserve a 58% or whatever RT has it sitting at right now. It's not the greatest film ever but it's at least a solid 7/10.

Yeah The Last of Us missing so many characters, even a few important ones, was surprising to me. Probably one of the biggest omissions I've found in the last few months. No correct guesses on the holiday yet, I'll let Wickle try or you guys can look again. I'll reveal it later on this weekend. Like I said, this holiday isn't a particularly well known one!

The November update is now available. With 379 new characters from last month's biggest releases such as Death Stranding, Pokemon Sword and Shield, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Shenmue III and many more along with your nominations. Sorry it took a bit. If no one has played it, I do recommend Concrete Genie. I watched a playthrough of it for the character pics and ended up enjoying it quite a bit. If you like movies by Laika, it really feels like a video game Laika movie. The art is phenomenal.
