I don't remember if this was here or in the discord, but I saw a comment about the version of Weight of the World I nominated when I wasn't able to really respond.

No it isn't actual French. It's supposed to be a fictional futuristic language that in this case--I believe--uses sounds common to modern French as a base. You can look up something like "Nier 'chaos' language" for a probably better explanation

I think this was discussed last year and I was in the minority, but I'm still not really a fan of the nom freeze. I'd like it more if it was only a freeze on adding totally new nominations

Ok managed to get 3 stars on MoC 12. Think it was more a matter of figuring out the right team for my account and understanding the Aventurine boss mechanics a bit better, because on the run where I beat it I actually did the first half one cycle slower than the team was capable of.

Used Fu Xuan/Sparkle/Silver Wolf/Acheron for side 1 and Ruan Mei/Aventurine/Clara/Jingliu for side 2. (For reference the team that could 1-cycle the first half swapped Fu Xuan for Aventurine with Trend of the Universal Market which gives (E2) Acheron all the ultimates, but I really think I needed Aventurine on side 2)

Initial reactions are Aventurine is very strong. Not really even done building him, but he was able to solo sustain side 2 of this fight relatively comfortably while Fu Xuan wasn't at all, in addition to providing actually reasonable damage of his own. Also provides the team with a CRIT DMG buff and tons of Effect RES, but Fu Xuan does have comparable abilities there at least.

Yeah I'm having a lot of trouble with this MoC 12 also even though I have a team that can 1-cycle the first half >.>

Clara/Aventurine and others seems to work well for the second half which is probably my best bet, but neither character is built well enough yet since Aventurine is new and I don't use Clara too often

It is basically instantaneous in the previously-referred-to boss rush mode, and even when you do the fight in the actual story it only pauses for like maybe 5 seconds for 1-2 lines of dialogue.

Yeah, the video is the one I meant to link. Phantylia is the name of the boss fight the song plays in, and I think what I grabbed was an unofficial upload before the OST with official titles was released. I'm realizing I did misread the rule in the Google doc for multi-phase boss music, but I think there's precedent where we have been allowed to nominate combined versions of multi-phase boss themes even if the combined version does not appear as a single track on the OST--which is the scenario here. @banshiryuu if this is wrong tell me and I'll change the nomination.

Edit: Fun fact did you know GameFAQ's doesn't let you put words (or links...) with longer than 80 characters in a message? What a good and helpful feature.

The Discord forum mode is very bad imo, but I'd probably use it resentfully if the actual forum went down. I like it fine as a chat service and already use the B8 Discord for that though. (Although I only really visit some of the sub channels)

In anticipation over objection to Pedujara's eligibility I will note that this version plays in the Echo of War (boss rush) mode with no delay between phases (Yes, including the transition part at 4:01 that does not appear on any OST track). If it's a huge deal to someone I will probably switch to just the phase 2 version from the OST but I think this should be eligible.

I haven't been able to follow everything since last night but I strongly suspect this will be the case and that as long as we don't label topics like "Politics Discussion" nothing will happen. Could be wrong but this is my guess.

I suppose users could more easily shut down a discussion with reports but idk if we'd actually have that problem here.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime has varied a bit in terms of story arc quality, but this season seems to be starting off pretty good imo.

I looked for it before making any post on the subject and all I could find was stats for all relic sets aggregated into one data set

I don't see why they wouldn't do it. They're already known to tweak main stat drop rates in ways that are invisible to the player* so I don't think it's much of a leap from there to differ them by set.

*Unless I've been the victim of some misinformation campaign, which I suppose is not impossible

I guess I should clarify that of course I have no way of really knowing this. I do suspect they do this but it's probably irresponsible to try and assert that with any strength without some kind of statistical survey, which is really the only way to know for sure. (Or I guess getting access to the code but I don't think that is going to happen)

I swear the game knows which sets are DPS and which are support, then deliberately gives you the opposite.

For the record I believe this is hard-coded into the game, not in the "wow my bad luck just makes it seem that way" sense
