Equity for WHAT? I plan on renting till i'm in my 70s. I'm 36 and have been renting for half my life. Plus I don't need a house, i'm the only person who's gonna be living there.

Its DUMB for me to have a house? Why? Cause only ONE PERSON will live there for the rest of my life. No one else. I'll have vacant rooms cause I won't use 75% of it.
