Where'd you get that statistic from? Your local town hall, or did you call CNN and ask for their reports on the subject? If you suck at communicating, or are otherwise boring to talk to, then they probably don't want to talk to you. But if you are engaging and more entertaining than the book, then I fail to see how you can't see the value exchange.

How do you think people meet each other? Message boards?

Why are you getting so defensive about the fact that most people don't want to talk to you on the bus? there's a reason most people sit in silence on public transportation, it's because they don't want to talk to anyone. Most people who are talking to each other are either there together or take the same bus together every day. Do you even live in a city? Cause you seem pretty out of touch with basic public behavior.

You're literally making up statistics and assuming you know what everyone is thinking at any given moment. I literally meet girls doing this exact approach, so I know it works. There is video evidence of cold approaches in cities all over the world. Not every situation works out, on the other hand, other people report finding their spouses and girlfriends doing things like this.

So I think your messages are based on fear and a scarcity mindset, and this type of thinking makes people fear strangers for no reason. If the person you're approaching isn't interested, they will let you know. If you're not socially collaborated, then it can be a problem, but that's not the issue here.

Someone having earbuds or reading is not an indication that they want to be left alone.

Its an indication that listening to music or reading > not listening to music or reading.

In public, Ill have earbuds in. If someone interesting decides to talk to me, I will and have talk to them.

You dont know until you try. Not everyone hates social interactions not planned. Just know you might get resistance, and respect that.

Its more about the intention on why or talking to her. This piece is directed at men who are approaching women because of sexual interest.

Sure, but they'd probably prefer to be reading at home as opposed to on a stuffy bus where ass clowns with no self awareness will try to hit on them

Ok.

How does that mitigate what you declared earlier?

I never said the only reason they're reading is to get people to leave them alone. But 99 out of 100 times if someone is reading a book they probably don't want to stop to make small talk with a complete stranger

If I'm reading, I don't like to be bothered. I don't care who you are, dont talk to me when I'm reading.

And if someone does try to talk to you, they'd figure that out in 3 seconds and you can both move on with your lives.

True. I wasn't saying otherwise.

I know, but some others would think its the end of the world, or that simply attempting to engage in a harmless dialogue, is some sort of harassment.

He went a little overboard, but he still has a point. If someone has on headphones or is reading on public transit they probably don't want to chat with strangers.

Or maybe they are reading, because they are bored and no one is talking to them.

No, they're reading because they're on public transit, somewhere no one in their right mind ever wants to be to begin with, and they don't want to be bothered.

And you know this how? Do you read minds?

Nope, just common sense and social skills

You're lumping every single person on earth who's ever read a book on a bus into one category and you call that common sense? lol

There's literally hundreds of videos of people going up to girls in public places, while they are reading, in a group, eating, etc. They get their number/having a genuine conversation with that person. Its social collaboration. If she doesn't want to talk to you, she will let you know in like 4 seconds.

Thankfully, the majority of betas don't understand this, which is why its easier to get girls than ever before. While every other idiot is on tinder, the real gold is outside in public.

Not sure if this was posted, but here is a video of the other incident.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/money/2018/04/16/black-man-videotapes-starbucks-refusal-let-him-use-restroom/521233002/

The video, posted to Twitter by activist Shaun King, purports to show an African-American man identified as Brandon Ward in a Torrance, Calif., store asking why he was denied access to the store's restroom when a white customer was granted access.

Here we go again.

Meet Brandon Ward. He was @Starbucks - about to make a purchase - and needed to use the restroom.

They denied him the code.

He then finds a white man, Weston, who came out of the restroom.

He had not made a purchase but they gave HIM the code.

That's assuming they get shot, and not just trampled because of the crowd trying to escape. There are other ways to get injured in these types of attacks. Also CPR is just one aspect of life support systems one can learn. You can take what he said literally, or just understand the concept of what he was trying to get across. First aid and fire safety courses are in the same realm of a CPR class, and again much more effective in terms of time management than a circle jerk of uninformed people yelling about gun rights.

I love how people always say we should not listen to what Republicans say when they say dumb shit. You say oh we have to go past what he said.

Well actually he said,

"How about kids instead of looking to someone else to solve their problem, do something about maybe taking CPR classes or trying to deal with situations that when there is a violent shooter that you can actually respond to that,"

So, taking other classes or simply understanding how to help deal with situations by learning actionable skills. Most of what people do is not productive to solving anything. You can listen to his thoughts or not. It's not gonna keep me up at night either way.

Well learning CPR is a lot more beneficial than these pointless walkouts that don't actually do anything of real technical value. Its just a circle jerk of people pretending that their clever chants will suddenly change the laws.

CPR isn't exactly effective on gunshot wounds. In fact, you'll probably just cause more bleeding.

Even if they do go into cardiac arrest,(where CPR becomes useful) it's likely going to be traumatic arrest. At that point, although medical professionals will try, a lot of medical professionals consider it an injury incompatible with life due to how few make it it after that.

Yeah man. I can't think of a single time in American history that protests affected change.

Nice strawman. People who don't know anything about guns or violent crime statistics, crying in the streets, is not the same as something like the civil rights movement.
