After you finish a song you have to look at like 5 different menus telling you how good you did, what you won, how you won it, what you unlocked, who unlocked it, who leveled up, who didn't, what the weather is like, how to make scrambled eggs, and how babby is formed

You are then taken back to the main menu, and can continue this vicious cycle of a game.

None of this bothers me. You're right about Dissidia though.

Djokovic did not play his best today, that's for sure. Still, neither did Federer. Can't wait for Sunday.

Blah. WTF happened to Casady. That looks like %$#^. Admittedly the story idea sounds fun and I love the idea of Havok being the team leader.

I like the idea of Havok being the leader too... except it's kind of strange that he would be the leader of a team with Captain America on it. That's just... not right. Also I like how Remender says Rogue is the "Wolverine of the team" when apparently Wolverine is part of the team also.

It's not even the best Snyder run! Also it covers a lot of themes that were already done (better, imo) in Morrison's run. Capullo art is very good, I'll give you that.

Rooting for a Fed/Tsonga final, but I'd be pretty happy with any matchup. Just glad it's not Djokovic/Nadal again.

Just to warn you... there are going to be some things that refer to the prior games. It probably won't bother you, but it would definitely add to the experience if you'd played the first two.

I know. I was just a huge fan of DQ VIII, and thought they were moving the series in that direction. I guess it was just an anomaly. I can always hope for DQ XI.

Yeah, no, I prefer my DQ to have stuff like actual characters with personalities.

So Ventus had this darkness inside him named Vanitas, which is why half of his outfit is black. Ventus fights Vanitas and they are both locked inside Sora's heart. So when Sora becomes a heartless, his nobody is now Roxas, who looks like Ventus. Presumbably, if Ventus is somehow saved, would he have memories of him being Roxas?

I don't know, I guess my question is can you talk a little bit about Ventus/Vanitas/Roxas/Sora and make it make more sense?

yeah. I mean, you can't say it's the "most disappointing sequel ever" because it was made by a different team and no one really expected it to be good, but damn it was bad.

Seth doesn't have a say in game design, I'm pretty sure, and if he does it's absolutely minimal.

Frankly I think he just got sick of having to pay lip service to policies he didn't necessarily agree with. Hell, I remember back when UMvC3 came out he was the one that had to deal with the brunt of the Mega Man BS, and SFxT probably din't do him any favors.

Yeah, it's most likely this. Can't imagine putting up with all the crap he's gone through. Remember when all the new characters got leaked for UMvC3? Dude looked extremely angry about it, put had to put on a face to satisfy the company image. Same thing with numerous other perceived mistakes of Capcom: Megaman, SFxT, UMvC3... just non-stop complaints and p.r. spin.

Definitely getting this when I get a Vita... which probably won't be until Persona 4, but hey Sony, if you're listening I'm gonna get one.

I'm actually surprised there hasn't been more of this in this generation, at least I would have expected pre-game advertisements or loading screen ads, sort of like ads at the beginning of dvds or blu-rays.

But mid-game? I'd hate that so much. Chances are they'd only put them on the guaranteed hits though, like CoD.

Perceive is fine as a gameplay mechanic, but it's kind of unbearable to think about it in practical purposes. "Objection! You touched your glasses when you testified! You're hiding something!" is just sort of ridiculous. It works as long as you can suspend your disbelief.
