Pelosi has also been recently quoted as saying that the House has been trying to impeach the President for 2 and a half years. After all that time they finally have the smoking gun to impeach him but now they dont actually want to take the steps required to get him out of office.

Nope. Democrats realized that they dont have a good chance in the upcoming election if the President gets a bipartisan acquittal in the Senate after the vote in the House was so blatantly partisan so Nancy Pelosi is refusing to send the Articles of Impeachment to the Senate. She realized that technically she doesnt have to abide by due process since its not a legal trial by the judiciary so she can take as long as she wants because theres no guarantee to a speedy impeachment like there is for a speedy trial.

Honestly I have no problem with that. I dont understand where you got the idea I was against it? I was clearly complaining that one was gender neutral yet the other was not. It insinuates that no matter how many genders you believe in that women are more important than all others. It doesnt matter if you believe in 2, 3, 42, or any other amount, women is special enough to warrant its own restroom while everyone else is relegated to sharing the other.

Irrelevant. The issue is that while waiting I cant simply use the other restroom even if its available, yet a woman could use either in the same situation.

If I remember correctly two of them are Yoshinoyas, one is a Panda Express, and the last is a Starbucks I walked out of a few hours ago.

The Starbucks surprised me the most. I thought they were all built with single stall restrooms...

For what it's worth, I agree w/ you, TC.
Pretty blatantly sexist. Should either be three bathrooms (men, women, and trans/unisex/Rated E for Everyone/whatever/take your chances) or if less than that then all should be unisex.

I knew this was the end result of the trans bathroom debates. Conservatives only ever whined about the possibility of trans people entering the women's bathroom, and liberals never give a shit about men. Pretty much inevitable that the "compromise" would end up being, "cis women get their own restroom; anyone else...eh fuck it, just use the men's."

Its times like this I wish there was a like button on gamefaqs.

This is absolutely true. They made bigger stores like Walmart build a third restroom to use as a gender neutral restroom but the smaller establishments only had to comply by changing their single stall restrooms into gender neutral restrooms, which effected mens restrooms far more frequently than womens.

No. Most establishments only had 2 restrooms, most of those with 2 stalls for women and a single stall and a urinal for men. The law dictates that all single stall restrooms become gender neutral so that anyone could use them which has resulted in most mens restrooms becoming any gender restrooms and most womens restrooms remaining exclusively for women.

Im tired of waiting forever for the restroom only to find a woman come out of it because its for all genders while I am not allowed to use the second restroom because its exclusively for only one gender.

I once bought a Blu-ray from the wrong region on Amazon from a third party that was fulfilled by Amazon because the picture was clearly the US region box and there was nothing in the information suggesting it was the wrong region except the word import buried in the expanded product description that you have to manually click into to see. In all fairness it would still be playable on a US player, just depending on the player it might not default to English if its not a smart system. I requested a return anyway so I could get the US version and they refunded my order and told me to just keep it.

I find their refund policy to be quite customer friendly.

Its not. Being assaulted for any reason is wrong. It absolutely doesnt matter why since you shouldnt be assaulted. But youre punishing people based on the why and not based just on the actual assault itself, leading to different classes where one why is more important than another.

Not every murder involves hate, in fact, most serial killers feel nothing for their victims (usually due to some form of mental illness) but a person that hates and kills (insert any race) because of the ignorant notion that they are a threat to their race, is a worse kind of monster for not only killing based on race but in all likelihood perpetuating the ignorant notions which create unneeded strife in our society.

Nobody goes out to murder on a whim. There is always an underlying reason behind it. I hate lawers/cops/druggies/dog-owners-who-dont-clean-up-after-their-pets/white people should all be treated the same. There shouldnt be one specific class that gets treated as more important than any other class. This is literally how you set up classism and racism in everyday society. Skin color becomes more important than anything else, which is inherently racist.

Hate crime laws exist for a reason. If a person of one ethnicity commits a crime against someone of another ethnicity because they think that person is an asshole, that's one thing. If they do it specifically BECAUSE of the other person's ethnicity, that's another.

I used to like my eggs sunny side up as a kid, mostly just because it was different and you actually couldnt get it that way in most restaurants, but nowadays I just prefer them scrambled because its less messy and easy to shovel them down quickly if youre in a hurry.

And now the House is refusing to actually send the Articles of Impeachment to the Senate. One of their own partisan witnesses familiar with the Constitution is urging them to reconsider because according to him Trump may not be officially impeached until they do. The White House will consider to make that argument if the delay lasts over the holidays.

My friend REALLY wants to go watch Star Wars in theaters and since hes buying everyone tickets I guess Ill be seeing it in a couple of days, but I dont hold any hope that its going to be anywhere close to spectacular. I definitely intend on buying the steelbook when it comes out on Blu-ray just to complete my collection. I have all 10 movies released so far in steelbook so I might as well get the last one too.

Based on this precedent that the House has just set I hope to see every single future President impeached if the opposition party holds the House majority. After all the House literally gets to decide what is and isnt impeachable on a whim and then just has to prove that it took place. Its already been admitted during the hearing that every single President, save possibly for Harrison who only served 31 days, would have been impeached based on the rules proposed by the House during this impeachment.

So I decided to watch Lilo and Stitch on Disney+ despite having watched it a million times on other platforms and I was surprised to see that Disney used the European version instead of the US version. In the original version of the movie, as it was released in the US, Lilo hides from her sister in a dryer during a very early scene. However, in the modified European version she instead hides in an open cupboard with a pizza box blocking the shelf that she is hiding in.



Considering all the other censorship that Disney has been doing to their own movies Im curious if this was intentional for the US audience or if they simply grabbed the wrong copy of the film when they placed it on the US platform. To my knowledge there were no other edits made to the film, but it has a three and a half minute shorter runtime, possibly do a difference in the credits.
