Probably something like Doing Things The Hard Way in VVVVVV or getting the Sun Sigil (chocobo racing) in FFX.

Yeah the first ten or so episodes set up the family dynamics and then they start throwing the life lessons and emotional resonance around.

I haven't been watching things in order, but Season 3 seems to have gone hard on making parents emotional.

It finally made me straight up cry with the most recent episode. But it's truly one of the best shows ever created.

I recently spent like $25 or so on cocktails in Las Vegas, but I was okay with paying the Vegas tax in that instance. If I were back home I wouldn't have been willing to spend that much for one drink.

This month is pretty relevant to my interests. Unfortunately this is also the month I let my subscription expire.

I'm very happy to see the user cycle going by the wayside. I never thought the intent of this series was to introduce people to new music but rather invite discussion of albums or artists of some repute. I know we switched to the user cycle from nominations so that people didn't have to be frustrated when their nominations are voted over constantly, but at least then there was a broader consensus on what people wanted to listen to and rank.

An idea for the new format could be to have a rotating theme each week and either come up with a list of albums that fit that theme or have people nominate albums that fit the theme and choose the top nomination. This would also allow people to plan ahead if they will want to participate in that week knowing what the theme will be ahead of time.

With the Everton point reduction reduction, it's a real bummer seeing the promoted teams all in the relegation zone. It's depressing to see how wide the gulf is getting between EPL and the Championship, especially as a fan of a yo-yo team currently in the Championship.

If I were to play a March game in March, it'd be Unicorn Overlord. I'm also interested in Dragons Dogma, but want to wait for reviews because I'm worried about its quality.

So this demo has a time limit? That's a bummer. I'm somebody who dilly dallies around constantly in games so I would hate the stress of a time limit locking me out after a bit.

Cha Cha Cha placed 2nd at Eurovision last year and tied for 2nd place all time in fan televote score. It was very beloved by fans. If you are interested, I encourage you to check out the performance from either the National Final or the Grand Final. The choreography is such a treat. I prefer the original, but the cover is fantastic and I don't fault anyone for preferring it. Last year was the first time I really got into Eurovision, but it's an exciting time and I'm eager for this year's contest.

Background: Adam Young (of Owl City fame) wanted to create albums that could serve as movie scores of historical events. One of the albums was for the Endurance, a ship commandeered by Sir Ernest Shackleton that ended up wrecking and sinking. This is the first song on the album and feels like it would be an introduction to the character and his goals if this were a movie.

Background: Having a child introduced me to the wonders of Bluey. In addition to the stunning quality of the show, the music from it slaps so much harder than you would ever expect. Huge kudos to lead composer Joff Bush who has helped make Bluey the worldwide phenomenon that it is.

Background: Seeing as a Rentals song finished top of the ranking last go around, I thought I'd give them a chance to defend their crown a bit. Before Elon Musk Is Making Me Sad came along, this was probably my favorite song by them, though I was biased because I was aware of the next song in this set of nominations.

Background: Please Let That Be You is a re-imagining of Mrs. Young, a song written before Weezer's first album came out in honor of their lawyer who looked out for them as they were coming up. It was never put on an album instead only surfacing as a b-side on a single or two. Since it was written by Matt Sharp, he took it with him when he left Weezer and formed The Rentals and put it on their first album in a new form. I wouldn't normally consider a (very good) demo for a topic like this, but I thought it'd be fun to see a little competition between the two as they deliver the same melody in different ways.

It's not surprising to me that you are struggling to figure out what to write. I was pretty speechless and had trouble finding the words to express what I was feeling as the credits ended, too.

Yeah I remember struggling with the 9S playthrough until he gets separated due to the retreading of the plot. Just keep powering along.

I don't remember if the music is going to change, but the nighttime town music is a bop. I don't remember it from the last time I played FES 15 or so years ago and what changes have been made to it if it did exist.

I would happily watch this from afar and maybe participate if enough Pokemon I was familiar with were involved in a day. As someone who ran a UotY-style contest, I don't envy the work ahead of you. But perhaps somebody more proficient in spreadsheets will have an easier time of it. It was a lot of fun though and I probably would've done another one by now if not for deciding to have a child.

That was a sad email to wake up to this morning. I haven't been engaged in the development of Eiyuden Chronicle even though I supported it on Kickstarter and am in the discord, but I still enjoyed reading the monthly updates and was excited by the prospect of a new series coming to be. I'm very excited for EC and hope it is a fitting end to his legacy.

I'll throw out a couple Enya songs that bookend her career because I was so surprised by how much I enjoyed her discography outside of Only Time.

A lot of people might not realize it, but Enya has a second song that has been able to crack into the mainstream, albeit as a sample. Then the song that sampled it was sampled. And then that song was sampled:

Oh man that's a bummer you couldn't get down with Anywhere Is. I like how bouncy it is, but I can understand how the cadence and styling of the lyrics could be off-putting. I think I was surprised the first time I heard it because like you I only knew of Only Time and Anywhere Is a much poppier, peppier sound, so it stuck with me. A lot of Enya's music does the layering that you would find on Only Time, so there's probably some hidden gems for you somewhere should you ever choose to look for them.
