what doesn't require intial capital though, is going hard to work in the bunny mines of eureka

that trial in particular is different - you want to save the LB for a particular point thats harder than the rest, since a lot of parties can't handle it without LB skipping it. and people can't fathom people not knowing that.

you'll also see people complain about LB on trash mobs in things like castrum meridianum, not realizing the LB will reset if it isn't used. Ignore these people.

I haven't worried about gaining poetics in a very long time! The game throws them at you for basically anything

also no joke, one of the best ways to get poetics is probably eureka. the NMs now give between like 50-100 poetics each, and you can do like 15-20 in a two hour period if you get a good instance.

the rewards are basically cosmetic at this point, the most notable of which being a mount after I believe 30-ish days of questing. I'd put it off until you're a higher level, since the difficulty of them don't scale and they go from a huge nuisance to a joke

I don't understand the choice to make noncombat jobs their own classes with dedicated equipment you have to switch to

I think this was mostly to give a world of additional content to people who don't play FFXIV for comabt and stuff. unbelieveably, there's a lot of people who only play ffxiv to rp. and erp. but we don't talk about the later.

imo the strength of FFXIV is in the BOSS FIGHTS, but you don't really get to those until 50.

you sure can. but yeah im not sure if its changed since release due to people being overgeared (everyone still had 390/400 stuff on launch; now most people are synced to max) but most wipes were due to lack of dps lol
