I forgot about the Dark World Thief's Cave in my previous game. Fire Rod came from there so I can finish all Light World dungeons. Also Ether to finish the Medallions.

First beat Lanmolas since I was mostly done with that dungeon, he dropped his usual pendant so the first one is in possession of Moldorm. Defeated him and then Agahnim too. Then went onto the Dark World, first dungeon again gets to be Swamp Palace, got the Red Mail and Mirror Shield there.

Went to Skull Dungeon next, haven't found the Big Key but beat the boss, he dropped the Magic Cape, lol. And then went for Thieves' Den and beat Blind.

14 Hearts (3 PoH sets, 9 Containers), 3 crystals done.

There is a Super boss in 358...

In fact, because of the panel system he is one of the most annoying (not necessarily hardest) fights in the entire series... The fight takes like 20 minutes, and if you make one mistake you are dead. Fun huh? Again, he's not tear your hair out hard. But if you've ever got him down to 2 bars and then died after 17 minutes because for the first time in 15 minutes you mistimed a jump, you know annoyance...

Don't think I fought him then. Guess I'll find out when he shows up.

Having finished another PoH set, I'm up to 9 hearts. Armos Knights yielded nothing of interest but beat the Eastern Palace, raided the Desert Palace to find the Hammer (so now can progress through chunks of the Dark World) and the shovel. Forgot I need Lantern or Fire Rod to finish progressing there, so had to leave.

Well, looks like swords are still in the same place so might have failed trying to update somehow, ah well. I know upgrades are randomized since I got the bomb upgrade from the witch. Oh wait... I got the Golden Sword from the dwarf smiths, not the Gilded Sword. And finally learned how to do the hammer run, took me far too long, which got me the Cane of Somaria from the puzzle outside Dwarf house in Dark World.

Running around found the Boomerang in the cave south of... Flute boy's woods. Done for a little while.

As all hope started to be lost, the journey begun.

Found nothing until I got the Moon Pearl from Spectacle Rock Cave, but couldn't advance. Looted Saharasla's house for nothing, looted Eastern Dungeon for Bombos and Red Shield, then got the hookshot from Zora's River.

Hookshot means Death Mountain becomes accessible... and the 5 chest room alone yielded the Mirror, the bow, and the book.

8 hearts now, I'll finish up Death Mountain and proceed through Eastern Palace.

Trial number two, now with the new patch... Finished base level stuff (Up to Ice Rod cave) before I went to bed.

6 Hearts (two containers and a full PoH set), Bombs (first from inside Hyrule Castle), Mushroom (Kakariko Well), Quake (Thieves' Hideout), Two bottles (Link's House and the Well), Golden Mitts (Thief's Cave by Hylia), Flippers (Kakariko Bar), Pegasus Boots (Ice Rod Cave).

Here's to hope this one's better. And hopefully I can resume Saint's Row again soon, lolme.

Kinda fucked in my LttP run, no clue where else to go and still no bow. And yeah, beat Misery Mire so all dungeons I can even beat with my current item set are done. But yeah...

Missing Bow, and the two magic Rods is... Bleh.

Granted, appears there was an update I missed and didn't fully realize it as I don't have the swords randomized.

Dropped Girlish Number for reasons no one cares about hearing.

I enjoyed Maria for a while, but dropped it when it started blatantly insulting catholicism, it was fine when just ribbing on it, but not those later arcs.

Enjoying New Game+, as their second season should have been called. More characters that actually influence the cast was needed.

Noucome I watched twice, originally checked it out with an irl friend, don't remember if I watched fully with him, second time was with JONA. It kinda falls apart towards the end like a lot of gimmick comedies do, still was entertaining.

Kawaii Complex was cute.

TWGOK... That arc too low imo, but I'm not the person who usually argues with someone's list.

Didn't bother with the second season of Chuu2.

So let's see... of bottom 50... I've seen...

Looks like 20/50. 21 if you count the fact that I watched over half of Maria the Virgin Witch, and of course three shows I watched the first season of but not the second. Only one I actually plan on continuing.

I dunno if she would be a GHB, I think that's mostly for people who'd join you if there was the trial maps. Which makes me wonder why we haven't gotten an Awakening one for like... Probably either Aversa or the thief dude first.

Thanks MI and gravy for hosting this by the way. I go months without visiting this board and just happen to stumble upon the contest as it was getting starting. We'll see if I have the same luck next year, as I will likely be leaving the board again for a while unless I feel like staying for smff.

If I would air one grievance to the hosting, it would be MI's late plea for Aladdin in the final four when the vote was tied at 18 all. I know this sounds biased coming from a Mickey fan, but I felt like it went a little over the line, making it uncomfortable for someone to vote Mickey after that. It was beyond a rally post; it was a sincere plea "from the host." The round was over shortly after, and it probably didn't decide the final result. But it was an inappropriate use of host power IMO.

I do remember that rule from Brett now that Doc mentioned it, but I don't think it would've been appropriate. Extra time is probably the only fair way to break a tie rather than discounting votes.

It's chest/boss content. Granted, it also can end up meaning you can sometimes skip the entire first three dungeons, but I am not doing that. It doesn't influence dungeon puzzles or layouts, all those stay the same. It influences when you can do them though.

I forgot to make mention of the LttP Random playthrough.

I currently have: Blue Boomerang, Hookshot (from Link's house chest), Bombs, Quake, Ether, Lantern, Hammer, Flute, Book of Mudora, 2 bottles, Golden Mitts, Moon Pearl, the Mirror, Pegasus Boots, Flippers, Shovel, Mushroom, Gilded Sword (since you can get that once you have Golden Mitts, Mirror and Moon Pearl), Mirror Shield, and Blue Tunic.

Also 10 hearts. I beat the second dungeon and got the green charm from it. Currently can do... a few things. I'll have this group decide.

Palace of Darkness, Tower of Hera, Thieves' Town, or the Water Dungeon. Or Kill Agahnim, but that gets me nothing.

The more developed Rowling made him, the worse he got. His double agent status? Actually kind of good. Him being a triple agent and the whole killing Dumbledore but making sure the process was weird and bs to not let Voldemort use the Elder Wand, and being a triple agent because he secretly wants to help the son of his high school crush despite originally wanting to hamper everything he did... etc. Aka, I liked him in book 6, but turned around and disliked him in book 7. His highs weren't bad though, so I'll give this rating.
