Probably, but I wouldn't really consider either to be harbingers of society's collapse. They're problems, certainly, but in the grand scheme of climate change, an explosive cost of living crisis, and the imminent collapse of the labour market due to runaway automation, they don't really amount to much.

Unless you can say what those chemicals are and why they're harmful (in the dosage the product has), just saying their "chemicals" doesn't mean anything. Just because a word is big and scary, doesn't mean it's harmful.

I don't keep sodium acid pyrophosphate and sodium bisulfite in my spice cabinet and they don't occur naturally in potatoes. Nice try at incorrectly comparing the natural makeup of a peach to the mass production of instant potatoes though.
