Honestly like....I want to revisit a lot of these but I think Wagner vs Psycho Clown is still gonna be my favorite.

Not only a great brutally violent match with a HUGE match atmosphere but I would wager the most historically significant match of the decade as its basically the match that saved AAA.

I'll put in a plug for Tanahashi/Suzuki from KOPW 2012, which alternates with Okada/Omega IV for my favorite match of all time depending on the day.

so, this is probably the next njpw match i would have expected anyone to mention.... i just think it's a notch lower than the ones i mentioned - and i watched it very recently! i actually think i prefer aj/suzuki

I dunno if I'd go 100%. For me they need either good booking or good wrestling. Give me AEW's workrate and I can tolerate WWE's booking.

it's 100% - you can give the wwe crowds aew workrate and it doesn't get over, people sit on their hands waiting for the dumb shit wwe has convinced people is what wrestling is. workrate just does not get over to wwe crowds anymore.

Brayn says it was the match style that killed the crowd (Rico and Carillo working body parts and rest holds). Dave says the booking has conditioned people not to care. People who are over can get away with doing less is more, bit still thinks the crowd sucked.

did bryan have an out of body experience and call in from another fucking planet? how can you put wwe crowds not caring about the matches on the work in the ring? yeah they never deliver anything stellar in the ring anymore but the reason crowds don't care is 100% the booking
