I almost wish I went to a tech school so I couldn't been done 2 years earlier, cuz you can still continue from that. Practically everything taught at tech schools is something you'll pretty easily be able to find a job for. I hate when peoe think a bachleors in political science is better than going to like a welding program at a tech school. So far for my all classes, I've gotten a net $400 BACK just from HOPE and Pell. Not even any scholarships. But I also live at home and don't have a meal plan. So, 2 more years of most likely free classes and I get a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the most respected college in my area. And can save them. But as for podcast, I can't remember some of the app specific ones. But I like 2 different podcast that I listen to pretty normally. | SirPikachu 08/05/18 12:44:35 AM #1 | It's a lawnmower part warehouse, I'm an order puller, so that means I get a piece of paper with a lot of customer orders on it and I push around something like a bookshelf on wheels and load the stuff up on the cart and then take it to the front to be packed and then start again. It's really simple and I like it, although it gets exhausting walking around for 9 hours, and things like lawnmower blades are pretty frikin heavy, and the cart can get to several hundred pounds. Also, it can get really hot in there, like 120 degrees they say, but so far it's been just like 80. Also, they say sometimes they get really busy and have to work 11 hours, with only a 30 minute lunch and 2 15 minute breaks. And it pays pretty good at $10 an hour, and my boss says he'll bump me up to $12.50 after 90 days if I work really hard. I really like it so far, and I think the best part of it is that as long as we work, we can eat, drink, and listen to stuff in earbuds while we work. Which brings me to a big reason why I made this topic, can you guys recommend some podcasts, and a good website or app to download them from? Yesterday was my first time ever really listening to pdcasts, I used an app called Castbox to download a bunch of Abroad in Japan podcasts, and it made the day a whole lot better, but the app is kinda weird cuz it deletes the podcasts after you listen to them, and it keeps telling me that it has an error playing or some reason even though it doesn't skip anything.
