I got some kind of error when I did the mandatory update hours ago, so I dunno if that's fixed. I've had that 99.88% (approximately) error a long time ago, though. Pretty sure that was the update that screwed things up for almost a whole day.

I have a ton of gold equipment -- way more than I'll ever use, probably -- so I'm not going to bother with any rateups. I do need some more gold handgun ammo, but I occasionally get those in my four daily attempts.

You should save some gems for increasing your army's size, yeah. Have you been getting the free (30) weekly gems by trying to share something to social media? You can just attempt it and back out without missing out.

I like the addition of simple, dedicated farming maps, where every (or most) enemy is a drop check.

So they're finally doing what they should've done for years. Everyone was getting tired of the "get X as a drop, but only from one out-of-the-way enemy, lol" crap.

I usually skip ranking stuff, but I might try to get Lee's scope. It might be a very long time (or never) until these equips get put into the black market.

If the 6* MOD3 is part of the story, they'll probably give out pyramids as map rewards, but I dunno if it's enough for a full mod this time. Gotta buy those black market pyramids every month just in case (it's 2400 pieces of bacon total, IIRC).

Already have the drops, so I've just been doing six battles a day + three on 5-6 to get a token.

Calico getting a MOD3 is nice, but I dunno if I want to waste all the pyramids I've saved up 'til now on her. Gonna need some for 416 later on.

Super SASS was the monthly reward the very first month I started playing (July 2018). I specifically remember getting her, since I started on the 10th and just barely made the cut-off to unlocking her. That said, I never used her once, so she goes into the "maybe I'll mod her if I have 9999 fragments laying around" pile. I'm nearly there, though, haha.

Type 64's MOD3 is coming out on the 18th. When I first started playing, and was just using 2*s based on their art, that was one of my faves.

For some reason, I thought Springfield already had an upgrade. I used her a lot throughout the game in my original squad (Springy/Lee/Thompson/Grizzly/STAR), but she's been on the bench for months. Maybe it just felt like she had a mod 'cause her ROF+ ammo made her pretty good.

Given that YZ stated that all of the main character T-Dolls will receive an upgrade, that would mean she's next. Seriously, she's now the only one left.

She had new art in the last event, so maybe they'll do something with that.

Were you doing the daily crate grind on that early map where you don't have to do any fights? It was still a trash map -- way worse than a similar one a few events ago where all hostages could be saved on the first turn -- but it was resource-friendly at least.

I managed to kill Judge on normal with a 3MG/1SG/1HG group, with the SG only taking 1 damage, but by the end, it was the only one alive. Having two HOCs as backup was helpful, too.

Now I just need about 300 nova medals to get that stupid X923423 gun. At first, I was all "no way am I farming a map with only a single chance at the drop," but since I'm medal-poor, maybe I'll do it anyway. Got about ten days to rustle a few up.

Most of the maps in this event suck, so no worries.

As for me, I just finished the event. A little heartwarming at the end, but overall, this event's plot felt like a lot of bluster without getting anything done or doing anything substantial. Can't even get a 5* with my true mask core since I got the last available ones from the event boxes, lmao. Guess I'll spend the rest of the event trying to get these last two 5* drops (about 200 nova medals right now ). I'm only at 58/61 missions done, though.

Not sure what Im doing wrong for Shark and the Sea IV.

I thought you had to set a bomb on the road and have the powerful red enemy on it when it detonated. But that did nothing and they were able to move on and capture the base. And blowing it beforehand, they get stuck there and in your way.

Aren't you supposed to go all the way around to a radar dish? It's pretty easy if you look at the video a few pages back. Dunno how the EX version is.
