Yeah, the shard quest is the devs going "hey, how can we make a sidequest that's both boring, long and unfun? I know, let's put pointless objects on top of all these mountains." Unless you're super reward-oriented, or need the resistance bonuses for a build, I wouldn't recommend doing it.

I hope I can get the "have Travel Light on for 'In Hushed Whispers'" trophy after speaking to Fiona but before discovering Redcliffe. Probably won't, but I used the golden nug to get god-tier schematics, so it shouldn't be a big deal anyway. The worst part is not even using Dorian this playthrough.

Yeah, I can see why multiplayer is mostly dead -- generic maps, boring pickups within the levels, most of the classes you want to play are locked from the start, etc. Still, once I got a full party (of randoms lol) it was a lot funner...and not just because they were 10+ levels higher than me.

Damn, just got to the part in Trespasser where Iron Bull shows up as a Qunari agent and you have to kill him. I wonder if that part changes depending on relationship levels and stuff. (I never really used Bull the whole game, and probably skipped his companion quests, so that may have factored into it.)

Inky has good characters, dialogue and combat; the plot itself is okay. It's really all the lame-ass sidequests and in-betweener stuff that makes the game drag. Also, a lot of mage clothes look terrible, which is hard to stomach early on.

Yeah, he always dies to random vamps and dragons on pretty much every file I have. It's so noticeable that I have to time journeys to Whiterun in the dead of night to minimize damage, and end up checking on his wellbeing later, just to be safe, lmao.
