No. The last ad tickets took almost 2 months to be responded to. I don't see the point raising them anymore. They were just canned responses (I raised two tickets on two accounts and got exactly the same response on both).

Out of all the ad tickets I've raised over the years I don't believe any of them ever resulted in any changes being made nor was the feedback fed up the line to people who looked after the ads. I may be wrong on this but based on the feedback responses I have received this is how I felt after reading the responses.

Can you play it single player?

How does it compare to Mass Effect 3 MP? Probably one of the only MP modes I've ever enjoyed.

Yeah I don't blame you. I've blocked others for similar reasons. I can only apologize for my actions back then. No excuses. It was a shitty thing to do. All I can say is I've changed since then and grown up somewhat. I completely understand if people are still wary based my my track history. It's my own fault and no one owes me any sort of second change.

I'm not sure if it counts but Digimon and YuGiOh is cool. I also cried at the Pokmon Anime when Ash finally won. Also when Ash turned to Stone in the MewTwo movie when Pikachu started trying to wake him up.

Elfien Lied is pretty good as well. That's about all I've seen.

What are you currently playing? What's your favorite game or series?

I finished FF7 Rebirth a week ago and haven't really started anything else since. Only thing of worth is I'm playing MyGM mode with my wife in WWE 2k24 which is good fun.

Will probably start something this weekend. Any ideas? I've got a lot of games on backlog. I might try Pacific Drive.

It wasnt I was unwilling to learn. Its just I couldnt be arsed. I work in IT. Learning is what I do. The issue in question the website someone recommended tripped my AV for malware.

Thinking its time to get into some. Looking up Judge Dredd and SPAWN. Are they good?

Only thing I do is make sure I put money into my index funds at the start of the month. If I wait until the end of the month I generally have nothing left! I tend to spend what I have so unless I put it away as soon as I get it goes.

I imagine the reason why it takes so long for things to be done on the site is because there aren't that many tools for managing the site and outside of really common things. I imagine everything else needs to be run as manual queries against the backend database.

Then another query to exclude them whatever stuff they put in place to block people from the board.

From their point of view it's probably such a fringe case it's not worth the effort to do the testing required to do it en masse. Much easier to do it on a case by case basis and has the added bonus of further reducing the population of the board. Although that being said if population shrinkage was the MO then why offer it in the first place. TBH I know it's a small concession from fandom but at least it's something.

I was really looking forward to the original but it was a complete mess when I played it. So many bugs it made me not want to play it. Did they patch out all the bugs in the end?

personally I like the fog puzzles because of this. it sorta limits where you can start, and then once you do start it limits where you can continue, so you never really feel too lost. Still can get stuck, but it's getting stuck by not understanding what to do, which imo feels much better than by not even understanding where to begin

Oh yeah I agree 100%. Fog puzzles are my favourite.

I would say start with a YouTube channel called Cracking the Cryptic. Just two dudes solving sudoku puzzles.

They have an app which has a selection of GAS (genuinely approachable sudoku) puzzles that are meant for beginners. The CTC YouTube channel also does GAS puzzles every few days or so. One video might have three or four shorter puzzles.

Finally I really love a guy called Rangsk who does a series of mini 6x6 sudoku puzzles. Hes done about 400 now. They vary in difficulty but each one takes between 5 and 10 minutes and the smaller grid size helps you focus on where to spend your attention whereas trying to work out the break ins on larger puzzles can feel a bit daunting for a newbie.

Probably the only other board I visit as much as CE.

Hopefully that wasnt too left field for people. Ill post something more conventional tomorrow.

Just a heads up if people didn't see it in the other topic. Apparently DToast didn't intend for people *already* in purg to get locked out of CE. If you know anyone that is in purg before 4/15 (ie: AceMos) and got locked out of CE cuz of this, they should send a feedback ticket here and DToast should allow them access.
